The wood-grain edition is the most traditional face of the COOL KNIGHT glass-top humidor - the look most people picture when they imagine a cigar box on a study desk. Under the lid sits a Spanish cedar interior sized for 20 to 35 cigars, kept in range by a built-in humidifier and watched by a gauge mounted on the front. A sliding drawer underneath holds the cutter and lighter so the whole ritual lives in one place.

A Classic Box for a Classic Room

The warm grain sits naturally among bookshelves, leather chairs and dark wood furniture, so the humidor reads as part of the room rather than an accessory added to it. The roasted lacquer coat gives the surface a hard, wipeable skin that shrugs off fingerprints and everyday handling.

Two equal oblong panes of tempered glass are framed into the solid wood lid, so the cigars stay on view while the climate inside stays undisturbed. Every unnecessary opening lets moisture out; here a glance through the top replaces it.

Readings on the Front, Moisture Inside

The hygrometer faces outward and reports both humidity and temperature at a glance. A humidifier inside releases moisture to hold the cedar chamber in the 65-76 percent band recommended for keeping cigars over the long term, and a dropper is supplied for topping it up.

Room to Sort, Room to Stash

A removable cedar divider splits the interior so robustos and coronas, or this week's smokes and the ones being saved, do not mix. Below the chamber, a pull-out drawer keeps cutters and lighters out of the cedar and away from the cigars themselves.
